A message from the headmaster

Welcome to ASM, and thanks for stopping by!  I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce you to one of the finest American Schools in Europe, a school that offers the most comprehensive college entrance program in all of Spain.

The web site pages that follow will give you most of the pertinent and tangible information you will need in order to make up your mind about taking a closer look at ASM.  However, I would just like to mention some of the intangibles that you may not run across in the technical presentation that follows.

ASM is fortunate to be located just outside of Madrid, the vibrant capital of the Spanish nation where all of Spain’s ancient and regional cultures converge.  You could not ask for a finer or more eclectic location for a school.

When you populate this school with a highly-qualified and exceptionally dedicated faculty, most of whom are U.S. educated and trained, accustomed to giving that little extra of themselves, you have something really special indeed.

And when you add the unique culture that springs from what we call the “Magical Mix” of our student population (approximately one-third American, one-third Spanish and one-third from families of nearly 50 other countries), you get even more.  Although English is the language of instruction, students who apply themselves can become trilingual in English, Spanish and French.  The diversity of nationalities, native languages and heritages ensures a better understanding and appreciation of different backgrounds and cultures.
